The Buyer is responsible for providing safe & suitable storage AND FOR ENSURING THAT IT WILL TAKE THE FULL QUANTITY ORDERED. The Buyer will also indemnify the Seller against claims, damages, expenses or costs which may arise as a result of the Buyer not observing these conditions.
The Seller's measurements of quantity will be accepted by the Buyer. The Seller cannot accept responsibility for discrepancies in the Buyer's tanks, dip rods or other measuring device.
Kerosene and Gas oil are not to be used as road fuel as per Hydrocarbon Oil (Marking) Regulation 2002.
THE GOODS CHARGED ON THE INVOICE REMAIN THE PROPERTY OF THE COMPANY UNTIL PAID FOR IN FULL.
We are a purely online company in order to keep overheads at a minimum and as such contact is made only online/by email. We are unable to fulfil requests to telephone the customer before delivery.
We do not guarantee that www.theoil.co, or any content on it, will always be available or be uninterrupted. We reserve the right to withdraw or amend the services or goods provided through www.theoil.co and/or your access to it at any time and without notice.

Access must be made available to the tank from the point your order is placed on our website, and for the following days until the delivery has been completed, or you may incur aborted delivery charges.
The products supplied will be charged at the prices ruling on the date of delivery irrespective of the date of order. Prices include applicable Government taxes and duties, other than VAT which will be shown separately. The Buyer will account to the Seller for increases attributable to changes in the rates of such taxes or duties or to the introduction of new taxes or duties which attach to the product at the time of delivery.
We can only undertake Standard-sized tanker deliveries only - we are unable to provide deliveries that require a minitanker/babytanker.
No through house (i.e., hose through front door) deliveries.
Deliveries will be made on the Seller's working days which will be Monday to Friday, excluding bank holidays, etc, within the number of working days specified by the delivery option you choose at the point of order. Delivery could be very soon after the point of order if the Seller happens to have a vehicle in your area so we advise you make access available to your tank from the point of order until delivery is made in order to avoid the possibility of an attempted/aborted delivery charge.
Next Day deliveries shall be delivered by the end of the next working day, and should be processed by 5pm the previous day to ensure delivery by the end of the following working day. However, we will always prioritise these deliveries and as such delivery could be made on the SAME DAY as the order is placed if we receive the order early enough in the day. As such you should leave access available to the tank from the moment your order is processed. For clarity, a next working day delivery placed on Friday at 1pm could be delivered by Monday at 5pm, as our working days are Monday - Friday.
The Seller will always endeavour to ensure delivery within the agreed time frame but in exceptional circumstances beyond our control or in very poor weather it may take longer.
The Seller will always try to deliver the agreed volume of Goods, but if the Seller is unable to do so (for example, if there is less space available in your tank than the ordered volume of Goods) then the Seller will refund (on a pro-rata basis) a sum to you to reflect the lower volume of Goods actually delivered, provided that the Seller reserves the right to amend the price per litre payable in respect of the Goods delivered to reflect the appropriate price band for the volume of Goods actually delivered.
If you order 500 litres and your tank does not take the full amount the Seller reserves the right to make a charge depending on the amount of the under-delivery by adjustment of the litre price. This will be deducted from the refund made to you.
If the Seller finds that the tank is full or nearly full when they attempt delivery there will be an aborted delivery charge of £20.00 made to you.
If the Seller finds that the tank is locked or access has not been left available when they attempt delivery there will be an aborted delivery charge of £20.00.
If the Buyer changes their mind, they must cancel in writing to info@theoil.co before the delivery vehicle has left the Depot to avoid attempted delivery charges.
We do not offer boiler bleeding as a service.
The Seller will leave a printed copy of the road tanker's meter reading with the customer after delivery, from a meter which has been tested and sealed by Weights & Measures.Your Obligations

The Seller reserves the right not to accept any order placed on this website for any reason, including without limitation, if they deem it to be inaccessible or unsafe to deliver to a particular site with their vehicles, or for example in the unlikely event of pricing errors on website. In such events, the refund will be processed back onto the original card used to place the order.
Refunds from this website are processed through our payments processor, Global Payments, and depending on your bank can take a few days to complete.
